Dr. Kamper, a Tempe, Arizona native, developed his passion for animal care early on, surrounded by a diverse array of pets. His love for horses flourished while assisting his sister with Arabians. After earning his undergraduate degree at Northern Arizona University, where he focused on muscle physiology research, he pursued his veterinary education at Louisiana State University. Following an internship at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute in Kentucky, Dr. Kamper returned to Arizona to be closer to family. Throughout his academic journey, he balanced his studies with hands-on experience, including working as a technician in a large animal hospital and engaging in research projects on equine stem cell therapy and feed supplementation. His expertise now encompasses ambulatory equine practice and small animal care, particularly diagnostic imaging. Beyond his professional life, Dr. Kamper enjoys outdoor adventures with his dogs, restoring vintage cars, tending to his houseplant collection, and cherishing time with loved ones.
